Easter

This wasn't Easter but was the middle of the month and just made me smile; so I had to share.  They found Pooh and Tigger ears from Paige's 3rd(?) party and playing so hard.  Cooper thinks its awesome to be a tiger and roar.

We tried the shaving cream and dye thing for eggs this year--didn't have such luck with it.  Fun making them but the dye didn't stick or I didn't follow directions.  Oh well, learned to do it the normal way next year.
Cooper did not think Dad was funny putting shaving cream on his face.
We had some extra shaving cream; so why not make beards in the bathtub?
Paige and Cowboy on Easter at the ranch; we spent Sat. night and Sunday.

Playing in the snow. . .or the one little pile left

Celebrity Waiter

Each year our small town has an annual fundraiser for the local hospital and my work has a table.  Usually there is a theme and everyone dresses up.  This year, Fruit of the Loom was our theme and we won best decorated table.  The girls were the fruit and the guys donned tees, undies, etc.  We had a ton of fun and looked fabulous.  Ryan and I even scored a few of the silent auction gift baskets, and the toy tractors he got where a big hit the day after with Cooper.

Building

My Cooper has decided blocks are fun and they occupied him while I was finishing dishes tonight.  His building skills have improved as he got his tower as tall as he is before it fell over or he would purposely knock it over.  Paige would not create things and them destroy them and laugh with glee like this one.  Boys.

Goodbye February

I'm not one to normally wish days to pass quickly; but Feb. can go away and never return.  We had a horrible month.  The only real good thing was our ultrasound showed a nice normal baby--but otherwise our family was plagued by colds, sinus infections, more colds, then another sinus infection, tons of days off of work, and then the flu hit us last weekend just as we experienced our first weekend of no other symptons.  Hit Cooper Friday night and by Sat. morning he was good to go.  Got everything washed up, and then on Sunday night, Paige and I fell victim.  I think it took until yesterday for the total effects to go away.  I think there should just be a universal rule that pregnant girls cannot contract the flu--there is enough going on with our bodies to worry about all the repercussions of the flu!  Baby and I are okay; but whew, do not want to live through that again for quite a few years.  Ryan of course did not contract it and was a trooper helping us Sunday night--I am proud to say he even held is daughters hair back while she puked.  What a guy!

Bring it on March!  We are ready for nicer weather and getting some things accomplished (that's my goal)

A big day

Tomorrow is a big day for our family.  We find out if Baby #3 is going to be wearing pink or blue; and looking good/healthy/normal in the ultrasound.  Paige is going to go with Cowboy and I; and Cooper gets to have his nap at daycare since my appointment is right during his crabby time.  I felt bad for about  2 minutes and then realized he won't quite understand and its a long time for a 2 year old to sit and be still!  Paige is hoping for a girl and my aunt is having dreams we have a boy; so we will see who is going to be happy. I'm only at 18 weeks and having it; so I hope the baby cooperates as this OCD momma wants to start picking colors and going through tubs to get organized.

Cooper had his follow up for his tubes as its been a month--and he's doing really well.  He had a cold for about 10 days and we got to experience just a normal cold and not an ear infection for the first time.  Fortunately everyone is recovering from the Feb. ick and starting to feel better--myself included.
