32 and 26 weeks

I will admit I had a birthday on Thursday and turned, gulp, 32.  The more fun thing was I had Paige take a few belly pictures as we haven't taken any good ones--Ryan has a few on his cell phone but me in my sweats and glasses aren't something I want to look at frequently!  So the top two pictures are courtesy of Paige.  Cooper was showing off his baby as well.  Cowboy hasn't been around a lot the last few days as the bull sale is this weekend; but he did earn hubby points and sent me some flowers.  Kiddos and I went and ate supper out so I didn't have to cook and I received lots of nice flowers and cards.

Birthday Girl

 

I am the mother to a  7 year old girl--wow, where did that go.  I can clearly tell you about brining her little peanut self home--her little six pound self with wild black hair.  We had a pretty mild birthday; just Gramma Shelly came over and we ate birthday enchiladas and opened up some presents.  She had a party the next day with her friends bowling; so we are at the stage where you either just have one big party with everyone, or a few small gatherings.  My big secret was I bought her Taylor Swift tickets for her Fargo concert; which is in September.  That's a long time away for a kid; but she is excited.  I  didn't get the big squeals when the box was opened but I have had lots of questions and excitement since.

Easter

 This wasn't Easter but was the middle of the month and just made me smile; so I had to share.  They found Pooh and Tigger ears from Paige's 3rd(?) party and playing so hard.  Cooper thinks its awesome to be a tiger and roar.

 

 We tried the shaving cream and dye thing for eggs this year--didn't have such luck with it.  Fun making them but the dye didn't stick or I didn't follow directions.  Oh well, learned to do it the normal way next year.

 Cooper did not think Dad was funny putting shaving cream on his face.

We had some extra shaving cream; so why not make beards in the bathtub?

Celebrity Waiter

Each year our small town has an annual fundraiser for the local hospital and my work has a table.  Usually there is a theme and everyone dresses up.  This year, Fruit of the Loom was our theme and we won best decorated table.  The girls were the fruit and the guys donned tees, undies, etc.  We had a ton of fun and looked fabulous.  Ryan and I even scored a few of the silent auction gift baskets, and the toy tractors he got where a big hit the day after with Cooper. 

Building

My Cooper has decided blocks are fun and they occupied him while I was finishing dishes tonight.  His building skills have improved as he got his tower as tall as he is before it fell over or he would purposely knock it over.  Paige would not create things and them destroy them and laugh with glee like this one.  Boys.
